Sant Gervasi-La Bonanova is a neighbourhood in the  Sarrià-San Gervasi district of the city of  Barcelona. In this, 2 zones are clearly distinguished; the first is the area of Sant Gervasi where the oldest nucleus is located and the second, La Bonanova is the area born from the construction of the promenade that connected San Gervasio with Sarrià around the 1890s. Luxurious towers and villas of wealthy families were built around this road. Although about 40 % of the towers were demolished in the 1970s and 1980s, some of them still remain, although most of them have been renovated. For this reason, we find residential buildings with large, bright, exterior flats and pleasant green communal areas. The area, very close to prestigious schools, is in high demand by families.
