Distrito: Sagrada Familia

Gaudí’s Avenue crosses the neighbourhood, linking the Sagrada Família with another major work of Catalan modernism: the Hospital de la Santa Creu i Sant Pau, by Lluís Domènech i Montaner. Both buildings have been declared World Heritage Sites by UNESCO. The Sagrada Família neighbourhood includes, at its lower end, the neighbourhood of the Encants, with the popular fair market of Bellcaire or Encants. This area will be transformed in the near future by the remodelling that will affect the entire area around Plaça de les Glòries.
